By creating an account or using My Cardio ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
My Cardio is a web-based cardio workout tracker that allows users to log workouts (running, cycling, rowing, stairmaster, skipping), visualise progress through charts, and receive AI-generated fitness coaching insights powered by OpenAI.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use My Cardio. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
6. AI Coaching Insights — Important Disclaimer
The AI coaching insights provided by My Cardio are for informational and motivational purposes only. They are generated by an AI model and are not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing your exercise programme, particularly if you have any existing health conditions.
We do not guarantee the accuracy or fitness-for-purpose of AI-generated insights.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code and trademarks belonging to My Cardio are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute them without written permission.
You retain ownership of the workout data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to use that data to operate the Service and generate your AI insights.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Cardio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which My Cardio operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
